       I love teaching!

     I love getting to know you!

     I find great joy in sharing what I have learned about art materials, how to use them, and how to get our ideas out of

     our heads and onto various surfaces to be enjoyed!

     One of my favorite questions is,

     "What if???" Think of all the possibilities!

     

 

You will be in good hands!  I have an Art Education Degree from Miami University of Ohio, and have been certified to teach in Ohio and Minnesota.  I have taught elementary, jr. high, and high school age students in a school setting as well as in small groups in my home studio.  I also enjoy working with adults.  I have been teaching for over 24 years!

Gather your friends and join me in a mixed media floral painting adventure!  Experience spontaneity and wonder as you explore a variety of mediums - both painting and drawing as you plunge into this floral design.  You will leave class inspired, refreshed, and with a renewed sense of connection.  Come blossom with us!

Birds Of A Feather Flock Together

 

Gather your family and friends for an afternoon of mixed media painting!  I will guide you in your very own 16x20” canvas painting of a friendly flock of creative birds!  It will be a joy to paint as you learn a variety of painting techniques and discover hidden feathered friends in your work.  Come join the flock!

Poppy Journal Covers

 

Gather your friends for an afternoon of painting and fun!  You’ll escape the stress-filled everyday life and relax allowing your creative self to have a voice.  I will guide you through the creation of your very own Poppy Journal Cover.  Keep spring close to your heart as you fill up your journal afterwards!  It’s usable art that you can take  just about anywhere! Come join the fun!
